Custom Framed Signed Limited Edition Print: Hand-Signed by Yoko Ono (Shijin / Poet)
This entry showcases an authentic, primary-source piece of music history, fine art illustration, and pop culture heritage: an original limited edition artwork print titled Shijin (Poet), hand-signed by conceptual artist, musician, and cultural icon Yoko Ono.
A pioneering figure in avant-garde art, Fluxus, and performance art, Yoko Ono gained global renown through her visionary creative output and her historic partnership with John Lennon. Following Lennon's passing in 1980, Ono dedicated herself to preserving and sharing his artistic legacy, supervising the publication of his line drawings, sketches, and watercolor compositions.
This color artwork depicts a figure playing a stringed instrument along a curved path in a serene landscape at sunset. Rendered in John Lennon's signature minimalist line-art style with delicate pastel watercolor washes, the composition features the printed title "SHIJIN (POET)" in the lower left corner and an official red Japanese chop mark seal stamped in the lower right margin representing Lennon's signature mark.
Positioned in the lower left white margin directly beneath the image plate, Yoko Ono has rendered a fine, crisp signature in pencil ("Yoko Ono"). The artwork is presented in a custom gallery display featuring layered double matting with an off-white outer mat and a pinkish-tan inner accent border, set inside an ornate gold-gilt wooden frame with accent beveling and display glazing.
Preserved in fine condition with vibrant pastel hues, clean paper margins, crisp ink lines, and clean matting, this autographed fine art print serves as an essential centerpiece for Beatles archivists, modern art collectors, and music history historians.
