Signed Easton Press Deluxe Edition: Hand-Signed by Gregory Maguire (Wicked)
This entry showcases an authentic, primary-source piece of modern fantasy literature history, Broadway lore, and fine leather-bound press ephemera: an official Deluxe Collector's Edition of Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, hand-signed on an internal publisher limitation page by celebrated author Gregory Maguire.
A master of revisionist fairy tales and literary reimaginings, Gregory Maguire transformed L. Frank Baum's classic Land of Oz with his 1995 masterpiece Wicked. Exploring complex themes of morality, propaganda, and empathy through the life of Elphaba, the green-skinned Wicked Witch of the West, the novel became a massive international bestseller and inspired the legendary, Tony Award-winning Broadway musical adaptation.
Published by The Easton Press as part of their prestigious Signed First Editions / Signed Modern Classics series, this volume is luxuriously bound in premium dark green genuine leather with ornate 22k gold-stamped cover and spine decorations—including a witch's hat motif—raised spine hubs, all-edge gilding, silk moiré endpapers, and a bound-in satin ribbon page marker.
Preserved in factory-sealed condition, the volume remains enclosed within its original publisher shrinkwrap:
Factory Sealed / Mint Condition
Inside the sealed binding, Gregory Maguire has rendered his signature directly onto a dedicated publisher Certificate of Authenticity page.
