Fully Autographed Blue Marble Vinyl LP Jacket: Hand-Signed by The Black Keys (Ohio Players 2024)
This entry showcases an authentic, primary-source piece of modern garage rock history, indie blues lore, and contemporary vinyl ephemera: an official vinyl LP album jacket for Ohio Players, fully hand-signed on the front cover by both founding members of The Black Keys: lead vocalist and guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney.
Formed in Akron, Ohio, in 2001, The Black Keys emerged as one of the most successful and influential garage rock revival bands of the 21st century. Rising from raw, basement-recorded blues-rock roots to multi-platinum arena headliners, the duo captured widespread critical and commercial acclaim with smash albums including Brothers (2010), El Camino (2011), and Turn Blue (2014). Multi-Grammy Award winners, Auerbach and Carney released their twelfth studio album, Ohio Players, in 2024 via Easy Eye Sound and Nonesuch Records, featuring collaborations with Beck, Noel Gallagher, and Greg Kurstin.
Featuring striking bowling-themed photography on the front cover, this limited-edition vinyl release is pressed on a marbled blue vinyl disc.
Across the lower section of the front cover art, both members have rendered bold, individual autographs in black felt-tip marker:
Both signatures stand out with sharp contrast against the light wooden floor tones of the bowling alley graphic.
Accompanied by an official Basic Certification card issued by James Spence Authentication (JSA) (Certification Number: CL89218), featuring a matching tamper-evident authentication label affixed to the lower left corner of the reverse jacket.
Preserved in fine condition with crisp corners, clean jacket stock, unplayed blue marble vinyl, and two distinct signatures, this fully signed album serves as an essential centerpiece for modern rock archivists, indie vinyl collectors, and The Black Keys displays.
