Taylor produced in 1996 by Gartlan USA as a limited edition of 1000 plates, each hand-signed by Ringo Starr in gold sharpie-style pen. In excellent condition. This plate #215 of 1000 total signed, numbered editions. A beautiful, bold signature on a highly attractive plate that is ready for display.
NOTES:
Ringo Starr is, of course, the iconic drummer for the Beatles. While he was a cordial signer for many years, Ringo announced in October of 2008 that he would no longer be signing autographs for fans. Since then, his authentic signature has been getting harder to find - especially given the flood of forgeries on the market. That's why this signed limited edition plate is so attractive - not just for it's great displayability - but it offers the confidence that it was truly hand-signed by Ringo. (There was an unsigned version produced, but it is easily detectable as it is only 8-inches - whereas all signed copies were 10.25 inches. Best yet, as these were signed in the mid-1990s, Ringo was still signing his signature with his large "star" symbol -- something he discontinued doing by the early 2000s.
