JSA Explained
JSA stands for James Spence Authentication, which has been the leader in signature authentication since 2005. When something is JSA-authenticated, it means it is the real thing.
When you choose JSA Authentication, your item is methodically examined and reviewed by their authenticators to ensure their expert impressions are in agreement. Each signature is compared to the world’s most extensive autograph exemplar library, which helps confirm or deny its legitimacy.
Why Authenticate?
Signatures can be an investment or a keepsake. Either way, authentication guarantees that the piece you own was signed by the person it claims to be. This not only gives you the confidence you need to purchase, but it also increases the value of the signature.
Why Get Your Pieces JSA Authenticated through Premiere Collectibles?
Premiere works directly with JSA in person to ensure your item is authentic and has a special rate that saves you time and money. No trips to the post office, and worry your item will be lost in the mail.
-
Premiere covers a large chunk of the cost for you. Standard pricing on this service is $25-$35 apiece. Premiere allows you to add this before it leaves our warehouse for $10 a piece.
-
There is no need to ship. Usually, you will send your item to JSA to have it manually inspected to ensure its authenticity. Premiere works with local JSA partners to bring your item to us, taking away shipping worries and inconveniences.
-
Less Wait. The standard JSA Process takes a few weeks. At Premiere, we can authenticate your items before they are available to the public. Your authenticated item will arrive at your door.
Rare Items
All of our Rare Inventory is Authenticated at no extra cost to you! Whether JSA, BAS, ACOA, or PSA DNA. Some are double or even triple-authenticated by other expert services. Letters of Authenticity on Rare Items may take the place of the Basic Certification as deemed necessary.
What happens if something is not authentic?
Authentication in signatures and collectibles is our top priority. We will never send a product that has been deemed not authentic. Unfortunately, some things we are promised will come back as not authentic, so we trust JSA and our experts to determine before sending items. If this happens for any reason, we will do all we can to receive authentic signatures; if nothing else can be done, you will never receive a non-authentic signature. Each case is different, but we will keep you in the loop!
Do you trust other Authentication services?
Absolutely! We work with JSA due to its reputation and ability to accommodate our needs. However, we also sell and work with companies like Beckett Authentication Services, ACOA, and PSA DNA. Other authentication services are carefully examined and will often be double-certified, ensuring that multiple experts have analyzed and verified authenticity.
