Autographed Diecast Fighter Jet: Hand-Signed by James Tolkan (CDR Tom "Stinger" Jardian — Top Gun F-14 Tomcat Replica)
This dynamic collectible represents an iconic artifact of 1980s blockbuster action cinema, naval aviation lore, and military pop-culture history: a detailed diecast model replica fighter jet, hand-signed by acclaimed character actor James Tolkan.
Tolkan etched his mark into pop-culture immortality as Commander Tom "Stinger" Jardian, the no-nonsense Carrier Air Wing Commander aboard the USS Enterprise (CVN-65) in Tony Scott’s 1986 cinematic phenomenon Top Gun. Delivering some of the most quotable, high-voltage lines in action movie history—famously chewing out Pete "Maverick" Mitchell and Nick "Goose" Bradshaw before sending them to the Navy Fighter Weapons School in Miramar—Tolkan’s Stinger remains one of the defining cinematic authority figures of the decade. Beyond naval aviation, Tolkan is equally immortalized by genre fans as the stern Principal Strickland in Robert Zemeckis's Back to the Future trilogy.
Crafted in durable diecast metal with authentic military detailing, this model replicates the formidable Grumman F-14 Tomcat—the twin-engine, variable-sweep-wing interceptor that defined naval air superiority throughout the late Cold War and served as the roaring centerpiece of the film.
Hand-signed cleanly across the surface in felt-tip marker, the signature stands out with exceptional contrast against the jet's tactical naval paint scheme. Complete with full third-party authentication and certification guarantee, this high-flying piece is preserved in pristine collector condition.
An absolute must-have centerpiece for Top Gun enthusiasts, military aviation collectors, and 1980s action cinema memorabilia displays.
