Autographed The Dukes of Hazzard 7" Vinyl Picture Sleeve & Single: Multi-Signed by Cast Members
This entry showcases an authentic, primary-source piece of 1980s television pop culture history, country music lore, and autographed vintage vinyl ephemera: an original 1980 RCA 7" vinyl single and picture sleeve for Waylon Jennings's iconic Theme from The Dukes of Hazzard (Good Ol' Boys), hand-signed by core cast members of the classic television series.
A major ratings smash that aired on CBS from 1979 to 1985, The Dukes of Hazzard followed the adventures of Bo and Luke Duke in Hazzard County, Georgia. Outlaw country legend Waylon Jennings wrote and recorded the show's famous theme song—which reached #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart in 1980—while also serving as the show's distinctive narrator ("The Balladeer").
The original RCA Records picture sleeve (PB-12067) depicts Waylon Jennings holding his custom leather-covered Fender Telecaster. Across the front cover, stars of the show have rendered bold silver ink signatures and character inscriptions:
-
John Schneider ("Yee Haw! / John Schneider / 'Bo'")
-
Catherine Bach ("Catherine Bach" with a smiley face)
-
Tom Wopat ("Yee Haw!" inscription and signature)
The original 45 RPM vinyl record (PB-12067-A) is included and preserved inside the sleeve.
Preserved in fine condition with bright sleeve colors and crisp silver ink signatures, the sleeve features an official James Spence Authentication (JSA) serial-numbered witness sticker (AQ60270) affixed to the lower corner.
This multi-signed picture sleeve and 45 RPM single serves as an essential centerpiece for Dukes of Hazzard completists, 1980s TV archivists, and signed vinyl displays.
