Autographed Vintage Concert Flyer/Poster: Hand-Signed by David Crosby & Graham Nash

This entry showcases an authentic, primary-source piece of 1970s California folk-rock history: an original August 7, 1976 concert flyer/poster for David Crosby & Graham Nash at Stanford University's Frost Amphitheater, hand-signed on the front by both iconic Rock and Roll Hall of Fame songwriters, David Crosby and Graham Nash.

Two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees as founding members of Crosby, Stills & Nash (and Young) as well as The Byrds and The Hollies, David Crosby and Graham Nash formed one of popular music's most celebrated vocal and songwriting duos. Defining the West Coast folk-rock sound throughout the late 1960s and 1970s, Crosby & Nash earned critical acclaim and commercial success with harmony-rich hit albums including Graham Nash David Crosby (1972) and Wind on the Water (1975).

Promoting their outdoor concert presented by A.S.S.U. Special Events at the Frost Amphitheater in Stanford, California, on Saturday, August 7, 1976, this bright yellow flyer features classic duo portrait art alongside vintage typography detailing ticket pricing ("$6.50 in advance / $7.50 at the door") and box office outlets.

Positioned across the right portrait image, David Crosby has rendered a sweeping signature in blue ink ("David Crosby"), while Graham Nash has signed along the lower left margin beneath the event logo ("Graham Nash"). The autographed flyer comes fully verified and accompanied by a complete Letter of Authenticity (LOA) from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS) (Certification Number: A67900). Preserved in fine vintage condition with sharp borders, vibrant paper stock, and clean signature placement, this dual-signed concert flyer serves as an essential centerpiece for folk-rock collectors, concert poster archivists, and Crosby, Stills & Nash enthusiasts.

Poster & Presentation Specifications

  • ORIGINAL 1976 CONCERT FLYER/POSTER: Issued for the August 7, 1976 performance at Frost Amphitheater, Stanford University.
  • VINTAGE 70S GRAPHIC DESIGN: Features halftone portraits of Crosby & Nash printed in dark ink on bright yellow paper stock.
  • EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION: Preserved in fine condition with clean surfaces, crisp edges, and bright paper color throughout.

Autograph Specifications & Provenance

  • HAND-SIGNED BY CROSBY & NASH: Authentically autographed in blue ink across the front by folk-rock icons David Crosby and Graham Nash.
  • FULL BECKETT LETTER OF AUTHENTICITY: Fully verified and authenticated with a complete Letter of Authenticity from Beckett Authentication Services (BAS) (Certification Number: A67900).
  • CONSIGNOR NOTES: In 1982, David Crosby and Graham Nash reunited for a major promotional tour of their album Daylight Again (with Stephen Stills). It was their first reunion after years apart. According to reports, the tour (which included over 50 tour dates and extended into early 1983) was driven by Atlantic Records’ refusal to release material recorded solely by Stills and Nash without Crosby’s vocals, despite his severe drug dependency at the time.

Here is an original poster from their August 7th show at Stamford University, beautifully signed in blue marker by both David Crosby and Graham Nash. In excellent, unfolded condition (especially considering its age). I was fortunate to purchase this years ago. I had searched to find a signed poster like this – as it was important that it came with solid Letter of Authentication. This one is from Beckett Authentications, a very respected authenticator of modern autographs.
