Adam Jones was originally selected by the Seattle Mariners with the 37th pick in the first round of the 2003 MLB Draft as a shortstop/right-handed pitcher. On February 8, 2008, Jones was traded to the Baltimore Orioles. Jones was selected to represent Baltimore in the 2009 All Star Game on July 5.
