Together, they anchored Vaughan's fiery guitar work across multi-platinum albums like Texas Flood, Couldn't Stand the Weather, and In Step. Prior to Double Trouble, Shannon played with Johnny Winter at Woodstock, while Layton went on to perform with Arc Angels and Kenny Wayne Shepherd.
A Legend in the Making captures 15 blistering live tracks recorded on July 20, 1983, featuring classic performances of "Testify", "Pride and Joy", "Texas Flood", "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)", and "Lenny".
